Meet Our Dental Team in Shawnee, KS

Dr. Seth Cohen would like to welcome you to Crown Town Dental! Building a modern, technology-forward dental office focused on patient comfort and care has long been a dream of his – and Crown Town Dental is the result of that vision.

Raised in Topeka, Dr. Cohen returned to the Kansas City area after high school to attend the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry. He then continued at the UMKC School of Dentistry.

Dr. Cohen is passionate about staying at the forefront of dental technology and techniques. Through ongoing continuing education and involvement in local study clubs, he ensures his patients receive the best, most up-to-date care possible. His broad clinical experience allows him and his team to treat patients of all ages and needs – including those with special needs –  with confidence and compassion.

Outside the office, Dr. Cohen and his wife, Paige stay busy raising their six sons – Noah, Greyson, Hudson, Oliver, Teahen and Beckham – along with their horses, Gator, Tito and Lola. Together, they love exploring Kansas City’s incredible restaurant scene, cheering on local sports teams, enjoying live music, cooking and traveling. In his free time, you can often find Dr. Cohen in the kitchen or by the grill!

Dr. Kenyon Walker grew up in Greenwood, Arkansas, and has always had a passion for science, creativity, and helping others – all of which led him to the world of dentistry. He earned his undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Harding University and graduated from the UMKC School of Dentistry.

Dr. Walker loves the artistry of dentistry and takes pride in blending precision and creativity to help patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles. His approach centers on compassion, detail, and genuine connection – ensuring every patient feels cared for and confident in their treatment.

Outside the office, Dr. Walker enjoys traveling the globe and is a lifelong Disney enthusiast. When he’s not exploring a new destination or planning his next Disney trip, you might find him perfecting his homemade pasta recipes or rescuing the occasional opossum – a true testament to his kind and patient nature.

Dr. Walker is excited to call Kansas City home and looks forward to caring for patients as part of the Crown Town Dental family.

Dr. Francisco Flores grew up in Lawrence, Kansas, and knew from an early age that he wanted a career where he could combine his love of science with helping people. After having some great experiences at the dentist himself, dentistry quickly became the perfect fit.

A lifelong Jayhawk, Dr. Flores attended the University of Kansas, where he earned degrees in Accounting and Spanish. He then made his way to Kansas City for dental school at the UMKC School of Dentistry. Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at University Health Lakewood, where he gained additional experience to help treat his patients.

Dr. Flores grew up in a bilingual family with deep roots in Honduras, and he knows firsthand how much language and culture can influence a person’s experience in the dental chair. He is fluent in Spanish and loves being able to connect with patients in their preferred language, helping them feel comfortable, understood, and right at home.

When he’s not taking care of patients, you’ll likely find Dr. Flores traveling with his wife, Sabrea, spending time with family, or cheering on the Jayhawks and Kansas City sports teams. He’s excited to be part of the Crown Town Dental family and even more excited to care for the people and community he has been proud to call home for most of his life.

Dr. Flores is looking forward to meeting you – and yes, he’s always prepared to talk Jayhawks with anyone who walks through the door!

Kaylynn is one of our phenomenal dental hygienists. As the longest tenured employee she is the subject of cruel pranks. In her free time she collects state quarters and sketches landscapes.

Holly is another of our great dental hygienists that you’ll see at Crown Town Dental. When she’s not working, it’s guaranteed you’ll find her roller blading and perfecting her favorite cheese dip recipe.

Mallory is the friendly face you’ll see when time to get your teeth clean, whether you’ve been flossing daily or just thinking about it occasionally.  After her day job of helping keep your teeth healthy she’s busy creating chocolate art sculptures.

Kelsey is one of our hygienists you’ll see to keep your smile in check. Whether she’s at the office or at home, you’ll almost always hear her practicing her rendition of the national anthem!

Dianna will be one of the smiling faces you see at our front desk. With her vast knowledge, you can be sure she’ll take great care of all your needs. When not spending time with her family, she enjoys figure skating on frozen ponds.

Sofia is one of the first smiling faces you’ll see as you enter Crown Town Dental. She’ll always be happy to talk to you about her Pokemon training! Her favorite Pokemon is Charmander because he’s fiery.
